Genre: Suspense/Thriller
Status: On Hold

Having suffered the recent loss of his wife and daughter, ex-detective Jake Hunter spends his time in a local strip club drinking the days away. No longer concerned for others, he watches as his once beloved hometown falls into ruin around him.
Once a thriving community, the city’s economy has been hit hard with the closing of several factories and jobs moving overseas. The unemployment rate and divorce rate are at an all time high. Ever so slowly the city is dying.
In the midst of the city’s troubles, a new evil emerges in the quiet community. Without warning and apparent motive, individuals and families alike are being brutally murdered and sadistically arranged for display. As the frequency of the killings increases and realizing things are only going to get worse, the police department calls in outside help in the form of FBI Agent and Behavioral Specialist Mark Gracen. Excited for his first solo assignment, but realizing he’s getting nowhere with the investigation, Gracen convinces Hunter to sober up and come out of retirement for one last case.
Teamed up, Hunter and Gracen soon find out that the killings aren’t simply random. As they get closer to uncovering the truth, the sadistic killer kidnaps Gracen’s fiancé in an effort to heighten his excitement in what has now become a murderous game. |
